The Classy-Chassis Car Show & Country Flea Market at Historic Poplar Grove Plantation takes place on Saturday, July 5th. Vintage cars and trucks 1980 and older, are sprawled across the lawns; all in pristine condition as they compete for best-in-show trophies. In addition to the trophies, wall plaques are awarded to the top 75 vehicles and dash plaques are given to the first 200 registered entrants. Brian White and 104.5 FM will broadcast live from the front lawn, oldies will be playing in the barn and from 1 to 3 Russ James performs folk-rock and country music. The Classy - Chassis has become the premiere car show of the summer, thanks to a perfect location with lots of shade and an historic setting. Awards, 50/50, music, food, country flea market, and ice cream parlor in the air conditioned barn all make for a great way to while away a summer day.
