HEADLINE: Spike TV’s Courtney Hansen Headlines the 2nd Annual BHCU Car Show
The sheet metal shines, and the wheels and steel will be rolling once again when Boeing Helicopters Credit Union in Ridley Park sponsors the 2nd Annual BHCU Car Show on Saturday, September 27, 2008. Hundreds of classic cars will be on display, drawing thousands of enthusiasts to this dynamic event.
“We’ll have some not-to-be-missed attractions at this year’s show,” said John Galante, BHCU CEO. “We’re expecting a double digit increase in attendance for this event and real enthusiasts won’t want to miss all the action.”
Headlining the event will be a celebrity appearance by Spike TV “Powerblock” star, Courtney Hansen. She is an automobile enthusiast, whose career has included hosting the Jack Nicklaus pilot Killer Golf and was on the cover of Hot Rod Magazine.
Named one of the "100 Sexiest Women in the World 2005, Hansen was the host for The Learning Channel’s automotive-themed shows “Overhaulin'”, where her participation was far from superficial; she helped out with the disassembly and assembly of cars for the show. Additionally, Hansen writes a nationally syndicated automotive column titled "Courtney Hansen: Full Throttle", and is the author of “The Garage Girl's Guide To Everything You Need To Know About Your Car.” She’s been cast in the upcoming independent film “Mercy & Grace”, and is "Destination Wild" on Fox Sports Net. Hansen will be available for autographs and pictures.
Additional attractions slated for the event will be the display of the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle Convertible owned by Super Star Rocker & Philadelphia Soul Owner: Jon Bon Jovi, plus a special appearance by Will Castro from Unique Whips on Speed TV.
